Wax melts are scented pieces of wax without a wick. They come in many shapes and colours. They can be melted either in the wax melter using no more than 4h unscented tea light candle or in electric wax burner. Each type of burner will make your wax to behave differently.
Wax melts are little bit different than candles not just because of not having a wick but also due to quick burst of scent release which will fill your home with beautiful aroma quicker than a candle. Wax melts absorbs the heat slower than traditional candle and therefore are able to release the aroma without burning oils. This gives the wax the ability to continue releasing the fragrance without the scent evaporating quickly. With candle it works in the opposite way (but nothing against candles, we love the peacefulness of the candle flame).
